Clashes Between Prison Inmates in Central Mexico, 13 killed

Mexico - deadly clashes occurred in Mexico Prison on Saturday (27/4) local time. Clashes occurred as a group of inmates felt harassed and deprived by the other inmates.

"Thirteen people were killed and 65 others wounded," said the head of the state prison system, Concepcion Tovar as quoted by Reuters.

Unfortunately Tovar declined to elaborate whether all victims of an inmate or not. According to him, the clash took place in the morning, before dawn. While the police began securing morning.

"The prisoners are in prison cell blocks occupants La Pila in the capital of the state of San Luis Potosi, Central Mexico," he said.
