Liverpool managed to record a 2-1 victory over host Aston Villa, in a game Sunday, March 31.

Aston Villa goalkeeper Bradley Guzan repeatedly saved his Liverpool players attack, especially Luis Suarez who several times opened fire towards goal but deflected Guzan.

In the 30th minute Aston Villa counter-attack after the kick Suarez denied by Guzan and Christian Benteke Pepe Reina managed to find the net so the host 1-0.

In the 40th minute, Suarez managed to escape from the back row of Aston Villa after the use of a long ball and faced with the goalkeeper but his shot could still be thrown out of the goalkeeper Guzan.

Villa's lead lasted until the first round is completed.

Entering the second half, Liverpool continued to attack and the game has been running for about two minutes when Liverpool equalized 1-1 goal by Jordan Henderson. Liverpool

The 55th minute, the Liverpool striker, Phillippe Coutinho, through the off-side trap Aston Villa and only dealing with the keeper but his shot was wide to the outside of the goal.

While Suarez again managed to get into the penalty box and dealing with goalkeeper Guzan, who stepped forward and caught the kick slowly Suarez.

At minute 92, Benteke free-standing in front of Liverpool keeper off a shot into the net but the linesman raised the flag off the side so that the position last 2-1 to Liverpool.
